Some of my porcelain paintings from the Vandoeuvres Christmas market I went to in November 2011
Croquis
Here are a few of my drawings, just so that I can prove to myself, yes I know how to draw.
Voici quelques croquis que je me suis amusée à dessiner, afin de me prouver
que...oui je sais dessiner :-)
Sam's Art
Who ? Sam' sArt = Samantha, English, born in Geneva, married, mum of an adorable daughter.
Painting on china was my first love. Tatiana Dallest-Agoritsas, fantastic friend and painting teacher, made me discover this art, which is not only for retired people, but is for 9 to 99 years old.
You learn to mix colors, to be patient and do "clean painting" (not the easiest for me to say the least).
After 15 years of painting on china, and after having to stop working due to health problems, Tatiana encouraged me to try painting on canvas "you will love it" she said.
She was right, I shyly tried my first canvas, in 2009, and since it's became my passion, my antidepressant, my Prozac, my therapy, my way of life!
I LIKE the freedom it gives me!
I am not a professional painter, that world is not for me, I did not intend to sell any of my paintings, but my friends all said not to forget that I had to buy my canvas and paint, and that my paintings where just to great to give away!! Got some fantastic friends (a little over-enthusiastic?).
Any how, I thought, go for it girl, go online and do an exhibit.
So what do you think?
